Lars Dirks

PRESIDENT AND CEO, EASA ACCOUNTABLE MANAGER

At the age of nineteen Lars entered the field of commercial aviation as a stock clerk for Hughes Air West in San Francisco, CA.  Lars’ commercial airline carrier career spanned fourteen years, ending as Manager of Surplus Sales for Northwest Airlines, based in Minneapolis, MN.  In 1986 Lars took a buy-out offer from Northwest and moved his family to the Phoenix area to start Spectrum Aerospace in a small 1500 square foot office/warehouse.  Lars’ vision, dedication and hard work has taken Spectrum from a small trading company to an internationally recognized aftermarket parts supplier and respected 145 MRO.

When not working Lars enjoys golf, especially for charity events, riding motorcycles, boating, and single malt whiskey.
