QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

Brian Baumhefner is Spectrum Aerospace’s Quality Control Manager.  Brian joined Spectrum in 2007 and played a significant role in the initial application process for Spectrum’s FAA 145 Air Agency Certification.

With over 20 years of aircraft systems and airframe structure maintenance experience, Brian is the lead A & P Mechanic in Spectrum’s repair shop, as well as the primary technical training instructor.  Brian’s responsibilities as Quality Control Manager include acting as the chief inspector authorizing parts for Return to Service, and managing the calibration program and technical data library.   He is also involved in the formal capability evaluation process necessary to assess adding parts to Spectrum’s Capability List.

When not working on aircraft parts Brian enjoys playing with classic cars and experiencing as many drag races and monster truck races as possible.
